The department of Gynecology was founded in May 1975. Through the joint efforts of directors of gynecology and medical staff of successive generations, the department of gynecology has achieved comprehensive development of various services. There are 91 medical staff, 2 doctoral candidates, 27 postgraduates, 10 senior titles, 13 associate senior titles. The annual outpatient volume of gynecology is about 90,000, and more than 5,000 inpatients are treated annually. The annual operation volume is more than 3,000 times, among which more than 95% are minimally invasive operations.
Gynecology is now divided into four professional groups to promote the development of sub-specialties.
The sub-specialty of gynecological oncology standardizes the treatment of various gynecological malignancies, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain. Focus on laparoscopic staging of early ovarian cancer, standard staging of endometrial cancer, includes abdominal paraaortic lymphectomy. The above technology fills the gap in our city and reaches the domestic advanced level.
The professional group of pelvic floor carries out standardized diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction diseases such as pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Carry out pelvic floor rehabilitation treatment, advanced minimally invasive surgical treatment, comprehensive assessment and treatment of urinary incontinence, etc.
The professional group of cervical disease and family planning took the lead in carrying out standardized three-step diagnosis procedure of cervical disease, systematic and standardized screening and treatment of cervical precancerous lesions.
The professional group of reproductive surgery maximizes protect women's natural fertility and improves the conception rate of infertile women.
